Forbes Woman Summit 2018

(scroll for English)

Prima editie a unei intalniri cu reprezentantele mediilor de afaceri, diplomatie, educatie, cultura si nu numai a fost gazduita de Forbes in luna martie, dedicata femeilor si influentei lor in domeniile in care activeaza, a unor valori deopotriva autentice si incurajatoare, inspirationale. Promitatoare, as adauga ca o scurta concluzie.

‘If we do not do things differently, then we have to ask ourselves: “who will?”’

H.E. Stella Ronner, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

The first edition of a meeting with representatives of the business environment, diplomacy, education and culture was hosted by Forbes in March, dedicated to all women and their influence within the areas they cover professionally, to the authentic values brought by them, at the same time encouraging and inspirational. Promising, if I may draw a quick conclusion.

Among individual speeches and panels focused on hot subjects, of interest to many persons and communities (leadership, driving change, visionaries), the event created the means of direct connection with the unconventional, the originality and the courage that help launch the actions of those who always test their limits and are constantly looking for innovative ideas.

I still like to remind myself of a few ideas, statements with a background formed by different experiences that I have mirrored to some of my personal understanding and initiatives with whom I resonate. H.E. Ambassador of France in Romania, Michele Ramis, brought a few words into her speech that reminded us of Christine Lagarde’s affirmation – the more women who work, the more prosperity into this world.

Communication, friendship, leadership were some of the highlighted qualities, feminine values, personalized and constantly adjusted, brought into attention when observing actions and interactions in day-to-day life.

Converging opinions, charisma and professional nuances brought into discussion have marked this first edition of Forbes Woman Summit, a gathering with emphasis on diversity, balanced development and coexistence of attitudes targeted not only for a certain category of people, but also for entire societies.
